It goes without saying that you want delegates to be comfortable, but there are also practical considerations to think about. 
For example whilst deluxe padded chairs might look great and be extremely comfortable, hiring in very large numbers will be more costly than hiring a more basic conference chair. 
Space too should be a key consideration as your venue may not be big enough to seat the required number of people on chairs that take up a lot of physical space.
